The design concept centers on incorporating daylight, greenery, and nature into an enclosed space. It symbolizes an abstract play on human curvature and transforms matter into well-studied chamfered edges, creating a cohesive design language throughout the scheme.
Two lightning bolts represent the chemical reactions that created the universe. These bolts interact to create chamfers, shaping the design's overall form. A plant at the front entrance exemplifies the Attention Restoration Theory (ART), which suggests that plants in public spaces attract observers, thereby enhancing the store's visibility.
The main material elements of the project include marble, plastered hard walls, brushed aluminum, and semi-soft wood. Wood balances the coldness of the white tones generated by the hard wall elements. Soft, warm incandescent spotlights are used to create a welcoming ambiance for clients.
